What is Conceptboard?
Conceptboard is a website that can let learners do online collaborative writing. At this website, you can create your own board with a new topic and invite other learners to do writing tasks or discussions in a group at the same time. You can see what others are doing and you can chat with each other through the chatting box.
How to use Conceptboard?
First, you need to log into the website, if you use this website as a guest, then you can't modify the page. It's convenient for users to log in with Google account or Facebook account.
After logging in, there will be an introduction video to tell you how to use the website in 5 steps.
You can create your new board now! There is an adding new board bottom at the top-left corner. Click it, you will see a new page.
To invite other people, click "share". You can invite your partners through sharing the link or entering their email address.
After your partners join the page, you can start your work.
If you click "+" bottom, you can upload files and can do some changes on it, such as highlight, text and circle words. Your partners can also change the file.
If you just want to do collaborative writing, each person could create their text box or sticky note to write simultaneously.
When you want to share some ideas during the writing, you can use the chat box.
Some advantages of Conceptboard

Some limitations about Conceptboard

The limitation you mentioned attracts my attention. If our students use it but draw pictures to interrupt communication, what should we do? Maybe we need to think about this type of problem.
